Impact evaluation of labor market training (Eesti Töötukassa, 2011)
The objective of this analysis is to find out whether the labour market training measure provided by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund in 2009 and 2010 had an impact on the labour market outcomes of the participants in the training. In particular, the analysis studies whether participation in training has increased the persons’ income from wages and employment.
Impact evaluation of work practice (Eesti Töötukassa, 2012)
The aim of this analysis is to examine whether the work practice measure offered by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund has had any impact on the labour market outcomes of the participants in the measure. More specifically, the following questions are addressed: Does work practice improve the employment prospects of the participants? Does involvement in the measure increase the income levels of the participants? How does work practice in conjunction with employment training affect the employment status and income levels of the participants? Is work practice for the unemployed a cost-effective measure, i.e. do society and the general state budget benefit from investments in work practice?
Analysis of coaching for working life (extended abstract, Eesti Töötukassa, 2013)
The Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund conducted an analysis of coaching for working life in 2012. This analysis provides an overview of the characteristics of the participants in coaching for working life and studies their employment situation after this labour market measure. The scope of the analysis is inflow to coaching for working life in 2010 and 2011 (in total 2147 observations).
Impact analysis of the business start-up subsidy (Eesti Töötukassa, 2014)
The aim of this analysis is to examine whether the business start-up subsidy paid by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund has had any impact on the labour market outcomes of the participants in the measure, whether the payment of the subsidy is a cost-effective measure to assist the unemployed and to determine the viability of the businesses created with the help of the start-up subsidy.
