Career information specialists of the Unemployment Insurance Fund organise workshops that introduce the labour market and working life to 8th–12th graders. The workshops aim to raise young people's professional awareness and increase their chances of finding work in the future. The workshops are organized in general education schools, youth centres and fairs aimed at young people.
The workshops are created based on our experiences with employers and jobseekers. We share information about labour market trends, the expectations and recommendations that employers have for young jobseekers, the situation of young people in the labour market and opportunities to find work, as well as many other topics. We aim to provide practical information in an engaging and interesting format.
The Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund and SA Innove, in cooperation with Pathfinder centres have put together a joint menu of topics offered to schools. You can find the joint menu of career services by clicking on the following link (pdf file): joint menu.
