How do I apply for the subsidy and how long does it take to process my application?
In order to apply for the subsidy, the employer sends the Unemployment Insurance Fund their application after they have paid salaries to their employees. It is not necessary to wait for the declaration of wages. The Fund will process the applications as fast as possible and generally make payments in 5 office days as counted from the receival of the application. If you apply for the March salaries of your employees to be subsidized in the beginning of April, the Fund will make payments in the first half of April.
Is it possible to get half a month subsidized, e.g. the period of March 15th to May 15th?
Only full calendar month’s salaries are subsidized. You can apply for the salaries of March and April, April and May or March and May to be subsidized.
For how long will the Fund be paying salary subsidies?
The salary subsidy will be paid during three months, March to May. Payments will be made until the end of June.
