Work ability reforms
2016 sees the launch of work ability reforms in Estonia creating a new working ability support system. The goal is to change people’s attitudes towards those with decreased working ability and help them find and secure employment. The Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund will continue providing the services it currently offers for people with decreased working ability, adding several new services in January 2016.
All other services will, of course, continue to be available: search & selection, provision of advice on job seeking, work placement and training, etc. Your personal consultant at the Unemployment Insurance Fund will help you determine which services will be most helpful for you.
